It's time to start getting your plans lined up for the summer festivals and we're going to help you by letting you know all the sick festivals that are going on. Today it's time to let you know about Gottwood Festival.

30th June - 3rd July this summer Gottwood returns to its Anglesey setting for a second year.  Gottwood is a festival for the musically experimental and open-minded. Serving up some of the most exciting talent from across the electronic music spectrum, last year saw the likes of DJ Format, Max Cooper, David E Sugar, Jakwob and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs experiment with an eclectic mix of techno, deep house, dubstep, hip hop and drum and bass, all to the eager ears of almost one thousand Gottwood Festival goers.

Guaranteeing an array of local and international talent, Gottwood will be introducing some new faces at 2011’s festival. Promising to set the techno scene alight are newcomers Eat Your Brains, who will be tearing into Anglesey on the Friday night. Likewise, fellow newbies Louche - the cult-status Leeds and London club night - will play host to a special, deeply nostalgic Sunday morning in the woods.

A festival like no other, Gottwood 2011 promises to recreate the mind bending adult playground that made last year such a success. In response to the high demand for tickets, all tickets will go on sale in January compared to the 750 that were hastily snapped up last year. Early Bird tickets are £70 + Booking Fee. Gottwood promises to be the perfect weekend away from the constraints of reality. If only we never had to return...

Joe and Will Ask’s second release on Deadly Recordings continues their Viking obsession. Named after Guthrum, the King of the Danish Vikings who ruled East Anglia in the 9th century. I'm sure he was definitely a Techno fan.

In the past 12 months they’ve gone from strength to strength, hailed as this generation’s Soulwax or Chemical Brothers, moved from their monthly residency at Ministry of Sound to hosting their tiny (and rammed) East London underground techno club Vikings to headlining Club NME on New Year’s Eve. They’re also developing a reputation as remixers du jour with treatments for La Roux, Arcade Fire, Paloma Faith, Groove Armada and Japanese Popstars under their belt.

With peers such as Brodinski, Booka Shade, Zombie Nation, Drop The Lime and Annie Mac hailing them for big things, Joe And Will Ask are set to be kings concurring dance music in 2011.
