This month will see Drum and Bass heavyweight of the scene label Metalheadz bringing out their hundredth release to date. A lot of the old labels have been hitting their hundredth release lately. We saw Ram celebrating theirs a few months ago and Hospital went sick and decided to celebrate 15 years in the game and their 200th release. Who better to have gracing the hundredth piece of wax to come out of Metalheadz than head honcho Goldie. A man who needs no introduction - but is getting one anyway - famed for his music, curious acting career, and his passion for art. Oh and his golden teeth.
The new beat entitled 'Freedom' and featuring Natalie Duncan comes with all of the elements you would expect from Goldie. Huge sweeping pads and a haunting vocal very reminiscent of that of 'Timeless' take Metalheadz right back to it's unmistakeable roots. A top release to celebrate a drum and bass milestone.
